In 2022, INVESTING HOPE Foundation is mentoring 5,141 children, youth and adults in some of the world’s poorest communities, teaching them how to be principled entrepreneurs and accumulate savings that will help them progress out of poverty and build their nation.
Our mission is to empower Colombian children, youth and families to find a way out of poverty and discover hope through value-based entrepreneurship, savings and financial management skills.
We believe in the enormous potential of children and youth. Our strategy is to empower the next generation with hands-on experience at character-driven, faith based principles of financial education and entrepreneurship.
Youth Entrepreneurship and Savings clubs
Investing Hope organizes Groups for Entrepreneurship and Maximizing Savings (GEMS) for adults and families with 12-19 people from the same community. They meet weekly to receive training, set aside savings, and support one another. The group can also loan from their collective savings to one another at an agreed interest rate.

We are firm believers that you can accomplish more by building on and strengthening the work of others. Investing Hope partners with local organizations who know the children, families and communities well. They connect us with children; we deepen their impact and facilitate staff, curriculum and resources. We are currently partnered with over 40 community and school organizations.
